Superfeel
Founding EngineerSuperfeel was a voice AI startup founded by Google DeepMind researchers, before there were APIs you could use to synthesize realistic-sounding voices. I spent much of my time building and training voice AI models from papers out of Google's lab, using work from AudioLM, SoundStorm, and others as a foundation. I also designed the data-gathering and processing pipelines, along with an app for easy enrollment. Highlights include creating an interactive audiobook for Rick Rubin and a digital twin for Billie Eilish to scale her fan engagement.

Crypto Tax Calculator
FounderBuilt a tool that pulled live and historical prices for 10,000 coins and used your location and income to compute the capital gains tax owed. I monetised it with affiliate links to the major crypto tax platforms, and once I began outranking the platform whose affiliate program was my revenue, the acquisition offers arrived. I sold it.

Pylon
Founding EngineerI built the product behind 65% of Australia's residential rooftop solar installations, voted the country's #1 solar software several years running. It calculates a roof's solar yield from aerial imagery, using computer vision and the sun's azimuth to model shading from nearby obstacles, then lets installers lay panels onto the roof, generate a bill of materials, and quote the job.

It was deployed at Stone & Chalk and other office buildings across Sydney and Melbourne.

NZ Entrepreneurs
Founder and CEOAfter seeing Posse founder Rebekah Campbell interviewed on the evening news, I wanted an excuse to talk to her. I registered the NZ Entrepreneurs domain that night, emailed her, and landed an interview within the week to ask all my silly questions. It began a long series of interviews including Rod Drury (several times), Vaughan Rowsell, Morgo founder Jenny Morel, and nearly every other founder in New Zealand. We sold ad space to Chorus within five months of launch, and eventually sold the magazine as a cash-generating asset.
